The FDA's $ 7 Million Cover up - BPA Products
Here is an interesting article related to the US Federal Protection Agency and BPA, well worth your consideration.
"Study after study has determined that BPA causes cell changes that lead to breast and prostate cancer yet the FDA has conveniently utilized a pair of studies—paid for by BPA manufacturers—to rule that the chemical is safe. Bombarded with the more dependable research contradicting BPA’s safety, the agency is further stalling on banning it by investing $7 million to conduct its own probe.
A group of insulted scientific experts who have thoroughly examined BPA have written a letter to FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg accusing the agency of stalling at the risk of public health. Spending significant time and money on a very well researched chemical is disturbing, the scientists write, pointing out that there are significant flaws in the government’s plans.
The FDA has been embroiled in similar scandals over the years by failing to enforce federal laws because doing so would negatively affect the profits of the wealthy companies that pay the agency hundreds of millions of dollars in “fees.” The deplorable negligence was even the subject of a congressional investigation that determined the FDA allows companies that annually pay it more than $400 million in fees to compromise public safety."

FDA Cover Up of MSG Product Dangers
(NaturalNews) The safety of MSG is a controversial issue that deserves much more attention, debate and discussion within the health industry, the mainstream media and the public. Independent researchers, experts and whistle-blowers claim that MSG functions not only as a flavor enhancer, but as a harmful neurotoxin that has adverse effects in the short term and long term for much morethan 2% of the public. However, the FDA regards MSG as generally safe and claims that only 2% of the public suffers from adverse reactions to it. They allow many companies, such Kraft, Pringles and Campbell's Soup, to hide it in seemingly benign ingredients without including it on the label. In many ways, the FDA has been part of a cover-up of hidden MSG in many food and beverage products as well as a cover-up of MSG's potential health risks. The public deserves the right to have proper labeling of MSG and to be completely aware of its many health risks in order to make fully informed decisions.

The FDA Silences Whistle Blowers and Employees with a conscience
The New York Times:
A wide-ranging surveillance operation by the Food and Drug Administration against a group of its own scientists used an enemies list of sorts as it secretly captured thousands of e-mails that the disgruntled scientists sent privately to members of Congress, lawyers, labor officials, journalists and even President Obama, previously undisclosed records show.
…Moving to quell what one memorandum called the “collaboration” of the F.D.A.’s opponents, the surveillance operation identified 21 agency employees, Congressional officials, outside medical researchers and journalists thought to be working together to put out negative and “defamatory” information about the agency.
F.D.A. officials defended the surveillance operation, saying that the computer monitoring was limited to the five scientists suspected of leaking confidential information about the safety and design of medical devices.

The FDA Cover up on GMO Salmon
Officials at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) were recently caught red-handed intentionally hiding a damning report from the public that provided conclusive evidence that genetically modified (GMO) salmon pose a serious threat to endangered Atlantic salmon if accidentally released into the wild.
These FDA officials knowingly withheld a vital 2003 report from two federal agencies that made it “illegal in the U.S.” to grow GMO salmon in “open-water net pens”, according to a press release from the Center for Food Safety.

FDA Covers Up Amalgam's Mercury from Consumers – for 32 Years
The dirty secret of conventional dentistry is this: those "silver fillings" aren't silver. They are mainly mercury – and mercury, of course, is a virulent neurotoxin that can kill babies in the womb, can cause permanent brain damage to children, and can cause irreversible kidney damage in adults (among many other things).
